Welcome to the Tifft Nature Preserve Birding Checklist. This is where we will keep track of the first sightings of any species of bird sighted at Tifft. This will mirror the official list that is on display at Tifft in the visitor center. If you would like to submit any sightings please do so at the preserve or in an e-mail to this blog.
Only the first sighting will make the list. Do not submit any outlandish claims because they will be ignored unless it is from a credible source. Please try to record your sightings in person at Tifft.
