An unusual wildlife sighting at Tifft today, a Northern Saw-whet Owl was seen on Rabbit Run East and fortunately hung out long enough for us to go out and get a good look. Such a cute little owl too! We all feel seriously lucky to have gotten a glimpse!
Hi there. Just reading your posting regarding the Northern Saw-Whet Owl. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and this past Friday, my wife and I came upon an adult Saw-Whet Owl out in the bush. Fortunately the Owl was low enough in the tree to spot it. And yes, they sure are cute little owls. This was the first time as birders that we had ever seen a Saw-Whet Owl.
